Atlanta

Arts & Culture

The Atlanta spring activities are is in full effect and art is in the air. Be sure to catch the Ballethnic Dance Company2010 season and support. We would strongly suggest you a visit to the Jimmy Carter Library and Museum, which gives a good idea of those who've made Barack Obama's vision possible. Speaking of visions, give your spirit a lift and visit Big Bethel AME Church, Atlanta's oldest predominately African American congregation since 1847. Keep an open mind and an open heart....it's all relative.

Relax & Leisure

The Atlanta Botanical Garden is too beautiful to wait until spring and summer to enjoy the beauty of plant life. You may not think "salsa" when you think of Atlanta; but think again. Stop over to AfriSalsa, don't be intimidated, its a great way to meet new people and they have classes for beginners. We understand you're in that chill mode; in that case head over to The Grape at Atlantic Station or two other locations and explore their wines and small plates. Cozy setting and even if you're not a wine person, the atmosphere is appreciated.

Eats & Sips

There is a restaurant for every taste bud in The ATL. Get some traditional southern fare when you stop by The Beautiful Restaurant. For the international palate and big city taste, Wasabi, a new Japanese sensation, offers its own take on sushi, sake and beyond. If that’s a bit too eclectic for your taste, The Cypress Street Pint & Plate will certainly bring it all back home.
