New York

Arts & Culture

New York is a huge state; Texas type big, though not quite as large, but big enough to enjoy so much in and around the Big Apple. That’s why we take our trip across the Hudson River to Jersey City and visited the Liberty Science Center, which host the largest IMAX Dome Theater in the world. Missing a trip across the water, would be like missing Alvin Ailey at the City Center or Fela! on Broadway this winter. Unspeakable! If you want to see the pristine and beautiful New York, take a road trip north of the city towards Westchester County and view the Hudson Valley. in a way, much unexpected.

Relax & Leisure

In a bustling city how is it possible to get away from millions of people and carving your own space. New Yorkers have learned the art of heading to places like Central Park. The park hosts a number of trails and adventures that keep many coming back. Since the weather has gotten a little colder, Bikram Yoga NYC. doesn’t have to worry about people attending the sessions. After all the walking, sweating and stretching, you may want to relax. We recommend seeing something small and independent at the Angelika Film Center, a true film destination.

Eats & Sips

Trying to find space in NY is an art, that’s why the Lower East Side is away from the “scene” but it really is “the scene” to be on. Dotted with little boutique, hotels and eateries, places like The Spur Tree Lounge, which attracts a diverse crowd on any given night. But if you’re looking for magazine-television type sexy vibe, the Riverton Hotel is just what you need. It seems Harlem is keeping its people from heading downtown for to much these days; which is why the Nectar Wine Bar is hosting weekly events and tastings to keep the neighbors interested.
